‘RHOSLC’ Star Bronwyn Newport Backpedals On Husband Todd Cheating!
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport recently addressed her husband Todd Bradley’s alleged infidelity during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She clarified that while Todd engaged in inappropriate communication with another woman, there was no physical affair. Bronwyn explained, “Todd never did anything physical with anybody. It wasn’t this big affair. It was really that I was uncomfortable with how much he was talking to somebody who was very flirty with him.”
Bronwyn, 39, shared that the situation stemmed from differing personal boundaries and her own insecurities. She noted that Todd’s behavior, though non-physical, made her uncomfortable due to the flirty nature of the interactions. She expressed regret for bringing up the issue on the show, stating, “I wish I hadn’t.”
The couple’s relationship dynamics have been a topic of discussion among viewers. Bronwyn acknowledged that Todd’s reluctance to be on camera might contribute to perceptions of him being harsh. She defended him, saying, “Todd is great to me the majority of the time. He just hates the camera.”
During the reunion filming, Bronwyn aimed to reconcile with her castmates and address ongoing tensions. She described the experience as a “wild ride” and mentioned that while she made progress with some, not all relationships were mended.
Bronwyn also reflected on her interactions with fellow cast members, particularly Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks. She expressed disappointment in their reactions to her revelations about Todd, feeling that they lacked support during a vulnerable time. Conversely, she appreciated the support from Heather Gay, stating, “It was so touching that she really kind of stood up for me.”
Addressing a past dog attack incident, Bronwyn admitted it was a challenging experience but chose to participate in the Puerto Vallarta trip to avoid dwelling on the negative. She also candidly discussed the presence of dog waste in her home during filming, attributing it to the challenges of managing six dogs and a large camera crew.
When asked about Todd’s opinions on her castmates, Bronwyn revealed that he favors Mary Cosby and is least fond of Lisa Barlow.
Todd, who did not watch the recent episode, acknowledged that he might have appeared too harsh on camera. He admitted, “I probably did appear to be too harsh.” Regarding his reluctance to be on the show, he commented, “It would be a low number,” indicating minimal interest in participating.
Bronwyn also addressed a hot mic moment where Todd criticized Lisa’s Vida Tequila. She noted that Lisa offered Todd a tequila tasting to change his opinion, which Bronwyn found surprising given Lisa’s typically critical nature.
